It took over seven hours but I made it from Soda Peaks Lake to Observation Peak. Trapper Creek is an amazing wilderness, my first time here. I’m tired but I’m thinking about hiking out before the showers come in. We’ll see how far my legs can take me. Not much snow in this part of the wilderness, but no people. I wonder if the closest trailhead is inaccessible. Trapper Creek was difficult to cross a couple times. Waded through in sandals once and used a massive sketchy log the second time.
