Happy Sunday from Japan!

Today, a look at Bitchu Matsuyama Castle in Takahashi, Okayama Pref. The castle with the highest elevation above sea level in Japan (430 m) can only be reached by hiking up a steep forest path.

@Mjhall Thanks! The main tower and a corner tower (two rightmost structures in first photo), as well as a bit of the wall, are leftovers from the 17th century. Everything else was augmented in the late 1950s, when the government provided some money to do so.
