Epistatacadam@dessie52 when I was first diagnosed with T1 diabetes 52+ years ago my condition related waste consisted of two steel needles, a wad of cotton wool two empty vials of insulin, each month. The alcohol was reused in a spirit lamp, to light tilley lamp's & generally as a fire lighter.
Everything else was reused for 20+ years.
Now I get a 40 litre box delivered every month of supplies, I still use two vials of insulin & 2AA, 2 CR 2023 batteries/month, but the, rest plastic, lasts max 3 days.
