@Exagone313 @FediverseSymbol @typographiesfr there are many symbols that can work pretty interchangeably for this sorta use. We chose the asterism for a number of reasons but the point is really just to support a way of recognizing the abstract idea of the fediverse very quickly so some symantic drift is quite expected
