Triple ⁂Maybe one day the Finder (or any other file browser) will allow to sort fonts by their panose: proper sorting by width / weight etc.
John Armstrong@triple I’ve done quite a bit of font sorting lately. I’ve found that Panose is not reliably set in the fonts I’ve looked at. Plus, variable fonts can span multiple weights, widths, and may have other axes. It’s certainly an interesting problem
@jlarmstrongiv You're right. I said Panose because that's what suppose to help with this issue but I agree, there is no perfect tool for (non-VF) font sorting.
