Remember when Unity blog used to have things related to the games technology? Good times, eh. Today, RSS feed of the blog served this 🤮

(Curiously, this can *not* be browsed through blog website; only in RSS. Why you do this, Unity?!)

@aras The blog is effectively dead. Technical content goes into Discussions now: https://discussions.unity.com/c/technical-articles/23
@superpig putting "how to effectively target mums during back to school period" RSS topics aside, this Discourse thing is confusing as heck, I can't get used to it. I'd expect topics to be sorted by date or something, not "uhh... some order?". But probably just shows I'm old :)
@aras Yeah, it takes some getting used to. I think it ordinarily _does_ sort by last post date, but the topics you're seeing there are all pinned, which might be interfering with things. (FWIW, you can unpin them by clicking the pushpin icon).
@superpig @aras TIL you can unpin stuff for just yourself on discourse. Thanks dood!
@mdiluz @aras yeah, it’s not the most obvious functionality! Makes sense when you think about it though - a kind of “I got it, don’t remind me about this again” feature.
@superpig @aras ...I can unpin posts, for everyone..? UNLIMITED POWER! Or maybe I'm also too old for this, I just assumed discourse was some sort of forum with bad UI. But sounds like that's the wrong mental model: in a forum, just mods would be able to pin and unpin posts. Sounds like fun to give that power to everyone though!
@sschoener @superpig I think your pinning edits are like prefab overrides; they are just for you. Or, I hope they are!
@aras @superpig can we have the equivalent of deleting parts of prefabs? Or even entire use- assets?
@aras @sschoener @superpig pin edits are local. The forum software Unity and many others have switched to is called Discourse. It's pretty bad, poor scaling, bug ridden, push directly to prod type forum software.
