Norway has a parliamentary election in less than 4 months, and the entire landscape has shifted from right to left in the last few months. For now it looks like the Labour-led government will get a new term.

This poll compares to last election in 2021, which elected a coalition of AP+SP.

AP: Labour
FRP: Progress (furthest right wing)
H: Conservatives
SV: Socialists
SP: Centre
R: Red (furthest left wing)
V: Liberals
KRF: Christian Conservatives
MDG: Greens

@veronica Time for me to think about how to vote then. Perhaps I can get the embassy to send me official voting material this time, though just using three envelopes might be the way to go.
@btuftin I've voted from abroad twice. Both times in Geneva at the Norwegian UN consulate. It was pretty straightforward, but for the local election I couldn't get the lists for changing the order.
@veronica I can't/won't vote in the local elections as a non-resident. The embassy is a four hour drive away, so four years ago I did the "use your own materials" mail-in option. Or possibly I got special envelopes ... It's been four years. Will check what the timeline is for getting official materials from the embassy.
@btuftin Not sure if there were special rules for us since I worked at an international org under some diplomatic something or whatever (CERN). But I could vote locally at my last district of residence. This was in 2019.
@veronica Looks like I could vote in local elections too, but I don't. I don't have the same connection to my last municipality of residence as I have to the country. So national elections only for me.
