frezikThe truth is weirder. It appears the DoD had been in talks to buy the plane straight up to become Air Force One. Then Trump blurts out that it’s a gift. The government of Qatar didn’t want to contradict him with negotiations still ongoing. It appears it will still be purchased outright.
There’s still plenty of security concerns with that plane.
Edit: Forgot to mention the implication. Trump created a scandal around this for no purpose or gain what so ever.

IMO, it’s because nobody does and just listens to their lower selves that these things happen. There have never been many believers in the West, nvm America… you have like two or three real ones like John Brown and that’s it.
Um… huge swathes of the fascist right in America do. You can’t just hand wave away the bad ones and only accept the ones you like
They believe in anything but self restraint and selflessness (Law of Moses plus teachings of Jesus, at least), so how are they believers? Their trees only produce bad fruits! If I say I’m a single celled organism, does it make me so?

The Trump administration first approached Qatar to inquire about acquiring a Boeing 747 that could be used as Air Force One by President Donald Trump, four sources familiar with the discussions told CNN. That’s contrary to the narrative from the president that Qatar reached out and offered the jet as a “gift” to him.
