@joeyh considers removing the  #gitAnnex webapp as probably only few people use it, it hasn't seen significant changes in a long time, has potential security implications and increases git-annex's size.

@nobodyinperson @joeyh I had it in use years ago, but it turned out those users I installed it for would not use it anyway, and rather did a single `git annex sync` when they needed it.

@nobodyinperson @joeyh I have used `git annex` extensively for decades and never more than played around with the web interface.

@nobodyinperson @joeyh The web app was the main reason I first sponsored the project so as to make it mainstream for non terminal users but it never quite had enough love to be widely used.

I'd say redouble the efforts on it and I'll sponsor more too!
