settimaDoes anyone have any idea what type of screw this is? Thinking one-way but unsure. It’s the on/off switch of a 1960s lamp (German plug).
Allen but one of the good ones@settima Yeah, looks one-way to me. Screwdriver can grip the screw if you tighten it, but slips off if you turn the other way.
Weird choice though - I guess it's supposed to be a safety feature to discourage you from messing with the electrics?
@uastronomer Thank you. Odd yes, but it's a lamp from #Panton or #Knoll / #Vitra so I assume they wanted the owner to have it professionally repaired. I asked them years ago because I was looking for a replacement dome but they told me the lamp is no longer produced.
It's also impossible to remove the cable from the metal fitting. Bah…
