I recently learned about a great friend of #Ukraine – Sister #Lucía, a philanthropist, TV host, and author who actively supports #Ukraine. I decided to share a bit about her.

Sister #Lucía_Caram, a #Dominican nun, first visited #Ukraine in 2015. At that time, the first wave of refugees arrived in #Spain, fleeing the shelling and bombings in the #Donetsk and #Luhansk regions. Sister #Lucía came to witness the situation with her own eyes –

a visit that became pivotal in shaping her future humanitarian efforts for #Ukraine.

Over the years of war, thanks to Sister #Lucía’s support, convoys of ambulances filled with medical supplies have been delivered to #Ukraine, including to military units. These donations and shipments are part of a campaign organized by the “#CaixaBank Volunteers Association,” the “Messengers of Peace Association,” and the #Santa_Clara Monastery Foundation, headed by Sister #Lucía herself.

With the help of nearly 500 #Spanish volunteers, more than 50 fully equipped medical vehicles have already been delivered to #Ukrainian defenders – and the work continues.

Sister #Lucía_Caram supports our country, cares for #Ukrainian children, speaks about #Ukraine on her social media, and mobilizes aid.

I want to sincerely thank Sister #Lucía. She is active goodness standing up to the evil in this world
