Watched Kraven the Hunter (2024), dir.: J.C. Chandor, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ariana DeBose.

I'm glad I didn't waste my time and money going to the cinema. Boring, to say the least. Bad script, shallow villains—a film not worth making. Sony’s usual work with Marvel. ⭐ ⭐

Wasted opportunity: A legendary Spider-Man’s foe turned into an “Eco-Punisher.” Kraven even defeated Spider-Man once, and making him an animal-protector villain doesn’t make sense. It seems the writers were obliged to make a Kraven film but didn’t know what to do without using Spider-Man.

Other wasted opportunity: Rhino and Chameleon, dull and meaningless characters.

Sony didn’t learn from Madame Web that Spider-Man villains without Spider-Man don’t work, making the same mistakes again. It even has a dramatic end, suggesting that more is still to come when it, probably, would never happen.
