wow. i'd love to hear your take on how it's changed. development there is apparently v limited.
i saw many deer, a few elk. a guide told me some species like those learned to stay close to town bc they know humans dont like bears so it's safer for them.
so an elk herd just roams around Banff (maybe always has?)
LOTS of birds, squirrels, etc..
no cougars or wolves either, but that's ok w me - i prefer to stay outta their way 😂
the glory of nature is on full display, for sure.
