🌱 Today, on behalf of the European organic sector, we shared an open letter welcoming the EU’s work on the Green Claims Directive - a much-needed step to combat greenwashing and ensure consumer trust in sustainability claims. With organic retail sales exceeding €50 billion in Europe, the sector stands as one of the most recognised and trusted models for sustainable production and consumption. But its integrity is increasingly at risk from vague or unverified claims across food, textiles, and cosmetics.
