@pezmico I was thinking about this today. I saw this morning that the latest long-term carbon dioxide measurement at Mauna Loa is 429 ppm, and is still accelerating upwards. It was 324 ppm when I was born. I’m really struggling to escape the conclusion that we’re living in a death cult. Society is so dangerously focused on the now and on individual lifestyles that it seems unavoidable that the near future is going to be catastrophically awful.
