Firefox stürzt ab: 6 % Marktanteil am Desktop, mobil kaum 0,5 %. Mozilla hat Vertrauen verspielt – das einst mächtige Add-on-System beschnitten, Mobile(-Security) vernachlässigt, Admins ignoriert, zu oft umgebaut statt verbessert. Technik verlor gegen Management-Floskeln. Der Exodus war hausgemacht. Und dennoch brauchen wir Firefox – sonst gehen uns die Alternativen zu Chrome endgültig aus.

@kuketzblog The point for me is not Firefox alone. If Firefox disappears, then what happens to Mullvad browser, librewolf and all the others who are based on Firefox. I see this as the biggest risk.
If all people wanting Firefox (and hence the derivative) to survive, well, you should donate, if not done already.
Either donate now for Firefox, or donate your data with chrome.
The specification of HTTP/HTML/WWW is sooo huge nowadays, a new browser is impossible to develop

@Erklaerbaer @kuketzblog yes, they probably have too much money, so they can hire business/law people with high profile stanford education who run something that should be an OpenSource community like a commercial US Corporation and that's probably the very wrong way.
