The soldier who shot a family in the #Kursk region was previously convicted of raping a minor
A soldier who opened fire on a large family in the village of #Giryi in the #Belovsky District has been detained in the #Kursk Region. He turned out to be a former prisoner from #Astrakhan, #Dmitry_Stenkin.
Before signing a contract with the army, he had three convictions: for the rape of a minor, threatening to kill, and beating a police officer.
The day before, #Stenkin, under the pretext of checking documents, entered the house where the #Larin family, with many children, lived.
He pulled out a gun and shot the 41-year-old owner, #Olesya_Larina (pictured), and her husband. The woman died on the spot. The husband survived but is now in a coma. Their two daughters, aged 10 and 6, were also in the house at the time, but they were not hurt.
Local residents had previously told journalists that they had seen #Stenkin walking around the village in an inadequate state.
