This week I have successfully infected two people IRL with #logseq 🤓

Will infect two more today and tomorrow 😈

I have spent some time this week reorganizing personal notes and the outcome is just immense. To me this is like looking towards a bright future where I have less friction with my note taking app but gain structure without effort. #logseq

Only thing that is bugging me right now is the 2-way-sync situation between #Android and #Nextcloud. I would love to use a #FOSS solution but apparently there is none (that I know of). Many people resort to unfree apps like foldersync etc.
Figuring out a smooth and free way for syncing will be a project I'll tackle soon 🤘🏽

@realestninja does Nextcloud not work with Syncthing? (I have zero exposure to it).

Syncthing-Fork works well for me with Logseq on Android

@tal I think in my setup it won't work. my Nextcloud is currently managed, so I don't have control on system level e.g. I can't install anything side-by-side that can access the files.

From what I understand syncthing needs to run on both machines. And the syncthing clients will communicate with each other.

I had this idea though to use a pi as middle man that runs nextcloud client + syncthing: https://social.linux.pizza/@realestninja/114423176211700670

How do folks do their #nextcloud #android sync? I need a reliable two way sync and since nextcloud doesn't offer a working solution as of now (check issue no. 19 on their github lol) I was thinking about this setup where I use a #raspberryPi as a middle man and wireguard on Android, so they're in the same network anyways: Nextcloud (on the web) <> Raspberry pi (running nextcloud client software) Raspberry pi <> Android Both the pi and the android would run #syncthing. Anyone running a setup like this? Is this an overkill? #selfhosted

@realestninja yeah, that's how Syncthing works alright
