Jorge Saturno@brenttoderian.bsky.social just attended a talk yesterday by Stefania Renna at #EGU25 about this topic. They found that every day-leave spared by this measure will cost about 10 EUR in funding. That's really nothing compared to the social cost of missing classes.

chownthemachineAll you need is a box fan, 4 air filters and tape. Schools don't need fancy multi hundred dollar air filters, and the kids can be responsible for making/maintenancing them
