Since early voting for the Australian federal election starts just after we get back to Taiwan, I’ve now booked my appointment at the Australian Office Taipei to vote there instead.
It’s only one vote, but I’ll do my part to stop Peter Dutton.

It seems like I always get ‘randomly’ selected for the explosives trace test at airports… 👮♀️
(but really, if it’s truly random that doesn’t seem like a good approach to security!)

Alrighty, time to fly, see you soon 台灣 😀
台灣高鐵~ 🚄🧡
Now is definitely the time for coffee. Let us… café.
Heh, ah yes, I get to see all the cute 阿志頭 haircuts again…
I forgot to note a couple of things that happened on the flight over:
1. There was a bit of a medical emergency on the flight, with a passenger near us having heart and breathing problems. The crew dealt with the situation really well and luckily there were a couple of doctors on the plane to help diagnose and treat the passenger. No diversion necessary and the passenger was OK!
2. In the most “we’re back to Taiwan” moment, the crew had to stop someone smoking/vaping in one of the toilets.
Time to head north! 台灣高鐵 goooo! 🚄🧡
There won’t be any #DemocracySausage at the Australian Office Taipei tomorrow, but the view from up there is good at least.
Voted! 🗳️ Always nice to visit the can’t-call-it-an-embassy Australian Office Taipei 😌
No #DemocracySausage of course, so I’ll just have to imagine the taste of it!
