Also, I need to sort out some minor issues with motorcycle-related gear.
I need a new mirror. The right one could be either screwed on rigidly, or is flapping on the wind. The last one is unacceptable. The first one - without the mirror being folded - make it harder to move out the bike from the backyard through the narrow gate. Well. I have this mirror for, like, 8 years (cheap aftermarket replacement, my ass), and it has started bothering me when we have moved to this house. Which was 3.5 years ago. Finally, time to get one, which can be folded without using the allen key.
I need a new jacket. I thought I will buy a new set of motorcycle gear after establishing a new shape. But. The zip handles felt off. I use a piece of wire to be able to unzip them, because otherwise the jacket is functional. But the jacket is part of the set made rather for touring, instead of for daily commuting. And I am rather aiming for "dyke on bike" style đ
The internal battery in my helmet intercom has died. Not a surprise at all. I have it for almost 11 years. And because of the break in riding, it went to some deep discharge. I need to research if it is possible to replace the battery. I would rather avoid buying the new one, as the old one is fully functional. For 10 minutes after charging đ
And I need to check when I've bough the helmet. As it seems to be close to the 5 years. Which means, new one is due really soon now.
PS. Do not ask me how I've lost the original mirror, so the replacement was needed in the first place. Unless you are willing to hear the rant about some most obnoxious motorcycle mechanic I've ever met.
