Working on the @haveibeenpwned challenge coin, are we on the right track? Other side would be much more formal (new logo), what would you like to see?

@troyhunt @haveibeenpwned in the nicest possible way, is hibp defending / punching hackers or is it a storage of pwned passwords / identification function ie alerts via email if your email and password have been found in a breach?

Also do you see hibp as a boxing kangaroo?

@troyhunt @haveibeenpwned I totally understand it’s been used to represent Australia in both sport and colloquially in war. Hey when we go over to the US for Defcon we use an inflatable boxing kangaroo as a mascot for the community to find each other.

I guess what I’m asking is how does it relate to hibp and its role in providing password breach notifications? Is it because hibp is an Australian entity?

@gordondraper @haveibeenpwned it’s a fair question. The relevancy is that we wanted to keep an Aussie connection on one side of the coin (the other side is a bit more formal). People are often surprised about the Aus origin, and we’re proud of the connection. The boxing kangaroo symbology reflects that origin, along with the fighting spirit that resonates with HIBP.
