@rei Yeah that’s why I wrote that.

They’re ripe for #enshittification with that initial “pricing” model.

Just wait until they get what they want (which is for M$ to buy them and fold it into LinkedIn’s $40/month plan).

It’s a pity they couldn’t find a more anti-enshittification pricing model.

Personally I’m 100% done with supporting apps that turn around and make their products worse to get me to pay more which is exactly what they’re telegraphing with that pricing model.

@rei Thanks. I’d be interested in discussing fair pricing models in this thread if possible. I’d like them to get paid. However, I also want to make sure they make a pledge to avoid the MO of 100% of Silicon Valley startups. Venture capital is an all-pervasive cancer on open source technologies.
