Dibrugarh: In a move aimed at enhancing employment opportunities for Assamese youth, Dibrugarh University announced plans to introduce a Japanese language course starting from the next academic year. The announcement was made by vice chancellor Jiten Hazarika on Sunday, following the conclusion of a two-day Japan Caravan event held at the university on Feb 27-28.'The decision to start the Japanese language course was taken during the North East Japan Caravan, where representatives from the Japan Foundation were present to discuss collaboration opportunities.
