This is how real the war is in Europe:

Denmark has called up its young women for mandatory military training and is now in the process of expanding it's navy with

— 6 additional armed frigates for The Danish Navy
— 5 Arctic patrol ships
— 21 patrol ships for The Marine Home Guard
— 4 sea surveillance ships with sea mine laying capability
— 1 underwater surveillance vessel
— underwater drones

This is in a country of just 5.9 million.

I do wonder how much these expansions are being coordinated with allied neighbours. I hope they are coordinating.
But I'm also thinking the public doesn't need to be shown how that coordination is being done. If we find out in 30-40 years, that's cool.
@Gurre they certainly are coordinated. NATO in Europe has a wish list for capacities, and member countries are offering to provide those capacities. For instance, I think the reason Denmark has no submarines is because Sweden has 5.
