Getting the steps in at sunset and trying to walk off those Easter eggs. #StAnnesPark #Trees #EasterMonday #Mastodaoine
@MarkMaguire I’m old enough to remember the bridge
@MacDaraConroy So *there* was a bridge! We discussed this, wondering was it a feature or a ruin.
@MarkMaguire If I’m remembering correctly (that folly overlooks the river, right?) there was a green iron bridge there, removed in the ‘80s or ‘90s but closed off long before
@MacDaraConroy Ah, there you go. There’s the remnants of an arch, like the start of a bridge at the veranda/ folly thing.
@MarkMaguire lovely! Next time I'm in Dublin I'll stop there on the way to Howth.
@mtechman Do it. It’s great for a wander. Particularly in summer. It’s about 10 minutes by car from Howth on the coast road
@MarkMaguire I'm the lone American who doesn't rent a car...but I was grateful my W. Cork cousin drove us lovely places 😉
@mtechman 😀 I should’ve said that too - easy enough by bus and with a bit of a stretch for the legs
