About a million years ago, in a mostly-forgotten semi-legendary epoch now called "The Nineties", I was a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan.

You know, a proper fan. I'd arrange my social life around the show airing on TV. I'd rush out to the shops as soon as each season's box set (on VHS!) was released. I'd spend ages discussing the show with other Buffy nerds on Usenet and email lists.

But I haven't rewatched it for close on quarter of a century. And I've just taken delivery of the full box set on DVD. 39 disks. 144 episodes.

Anyway, while I'm losing myself back in Sunnydale, I was wondering if I should toot or blog my way through it. Any interest?

This wouldn't be a short-term project. I doubt I'll even manage to watch one episode per day on average. It's going to be a year or maybe even more before I get to the end of it all.
@losttourist Nice. I've been thinking it might be long enough ago to watch it for the 4th time. Amazing show.
@losttourist I keep meaning to do the same with Babylon 5, then do all the spinoffs and movies that I never watched at the time 🤔
@losttourist
Anyone in the '90s who didn't watch Buffy just didn't have a scooby.
@losttourist the last box set I took delivery of was of #HowardsWay and it resulted in me counting every time someone said the word "business". Be careful, box sets are dangerous! 😂 https://youtube.com/watch?v=wfWnyYwE8n4
Every time someone says "Business" on Howards' Way

@losttourist judging from my wife, also a fan, the Buffering The Vampire Slayer podcast and discord might help enhance your enjoyment
@losttourist yes do.
I’ve started rewatching Buffy and Angel again after 25 odd years, and would love sharing opinions about this great show with you.
@Rhedmtf Ahh cool. I'll try to hashtag all the posts with #BTVS so they're at least findable. Hoping to start watching later this week.
