@fuchsiii my guess is that #Apple socketed the #SSD on the #MacMini because for many #IT departments #KeepYourDrive is a non-negotiable must-have and they'll flat-out refuse to procure anything that doesn't support that requirement when decomissioning a machine.

  • Plus #SSDs are undeniably a #wear part that will inevitably die due to use!
