The Saturday show was a disorganised mess, didn't start until 1:45 and then no one seemed to know what was going on. With the Bennett team off the program, they just put up anything from the ADF they could find, it seemed.

Show was over, time to go home.

We fly to the show every two years, way easier than the three hour drive, including being trapped in the car park for over an hour. It was even messier this year, with people saying they didn't get home until midnight.

The Americans very excitedly flew their lovely C-17 around. These are so big, it's amazing to see how aerobatic it can be, pulling off tight turns and short landings.

The American doing the commentary had to introduce the entire crew including home towns, call signs and nicknames, and they always have to do some sort of passes for the troops (as if they care). The Sydneysiders who flew with us to the show were quite bemused. The commentary for the Australians is far more laid back and less ultranationalist, one might say?
