@GossiTheDog
So the rest of us currently have no way to "opt out" of interacting with Recall users who might be snaffling up our private chats or comms.
I think it's time some clever person codes up a user agent warning app to warn about other users sharing the platform and using Recall, but now that I've said it, it sounds impossible.

@acesabe @GossiTheDog @raspberryswirl To be fair, this converstaion is not really private, and is probably scraped for AI training and other purposes as we speak.

But no, there's no way to opt-out of this crap.

@gordonhost @acesabe @GossiTheDog ofc this conversation is public, even we would make it private. the main problem with such agents, you never know where you passwords, bankdata etc lands. and even worse, if I would have a private conversation by pgp with someone who has that agent enabled, or any other ..
@raspberryswirl @acesabe @GossiTheDog Yes, that's a huge problem. At least the copilot database is stored locally (for now). But I will bet my grandma's secret cookie recipe that Microsoft will sync it to the cloud eventually for "convenience".
