I think that empathy is an emergent property of intelligence. People that lack empathy lack intelligence.

This is why I'm more afraid of stupid billionaires ruling us than of AI that are much more intelligent than us, ruling us:

Coincidentally this is also why billionaires fear AI that are much more intelligent than them. The billionaires subconsciously understand that the new adults in the room will take away the machine gun from the unempathetic monkey billionaires.
