My partner and I agreed not to tell the #ActuallyAutistic children enough about RFK Jr to get them upset, but one of them figured out all the implications anyway and just ranted for two hours about how they wanted to lead the "Searing Rebellion" against RFK Jr and Trump. They're now sketching out plans for how to divide an uninhabited island for autistic refugees to move to.

The Trump regime made a big mistake by mobilizing the nation's strategic reserve of #PDA against them.

I have always been willing to sacrifice my life for something I truly believe in, but having dependents changes that calculus. I thought that was something they did not have the maturity to consent to. But seeing my children so defiant even though they understand exactly what they're up against makes me wonder if I had underestimated them.

Even given their remarkable standards. If this administration declares war on autism, it may well be the stupidest thing they ever do.
Just think about all the systems our attention to detail and perseverance keep going. Our hatred of injustice and our well documented willingness to put our own safety at risk to do something about it. Just think about 3+% of the population rising up with the passion and determination of Greta.

@BernieDoesIt Over a decade ago I started NANOWRIMO (write a novel in a month, before they got awful), and my stage was a residential school where they had a computer lab and were doing major hacking and ... oh, I didn't get to the revolutionary parts because it took five days to realize I was totally immersed in it and ... still had a job to go to... so closed that folder.
