I predict this will be a pretty quick run. Fighters are tanks and great damage dealers, and I just wanted three because you get so many swords and so much heavy armour in the game, and it sucks to leave it behind.
A few days in and I cleared the Earth Cave last night, did the Castle of Ordeals this morning, and just heading off to the Ice Cave before I do the class change. Characters are L15, so should be able to get some decent casting levels before I go for the ending.
Three fighters is 100% easy mode. The only issue I've come up with is the lack of armour space for picking up extra items. The last few runs have been heavily BB based, where I load them up like camels.

@skotchygut So hard at the beginning, and a massive laugh by the end. One of my favourite runs.
This current one's a lot of fun, too, I get to use all the good weapons and armour, and cast the odd big spell.
@juliancday the game is basically over once you defeat Lich.
@skotchygut The only issue with BB-heavy parties is the rate at which you burn heals. I spent a bunch of time in that last dungeon spamming heal helmets/staves.
@juliancday yeah the heal items are necessary but you don't have to buy any gear so plenty of money for them heal potions. Buying 99 heal potions on the original game, however, is so tedious.
