I find the way RFK Jr talks about autism to be really disturbing. He refers to the existence of neurodiversity like it's an illness. It is not.

These folks just can't stand variety in any form.

@kimlockhartga you can tell a lot about someone by whether they see neurodivergence as just a different way of being or as a disease for which there is sadly no cure, but if only we had more "research" (finding new ways to traumatize autistic people into masking so neurotypicals get to pretend they're the "right" way of thinking)
