The idea being that if enough people use it, certain headlines will stop getting traction and ultimately starve the subjects of those headlines of oxygen.

lopta@gvy_dvpont Does it have a photodiode to detect the gap between tickets or is the motor just timed?
@lopta both, unfortunately! It definitely has a photodiode because I had to punch holes in the tickets to prevent them from feeding through infinitely (the dispenser auto-loads them until it detects a break). HOWEVER I could not get the output pin, which is supposed to pulse with each ticket, to work. So I just figured out how much time each ticket required and did it manually.
