@MatWright @giflian @gemelliz #RosemaryBarton should be booted out of media. She is biased, arrogant, not at all interested in advocating for citizens, nor in positioning political issues accurately. She worships her own brilliance & considers her opinions to be political fact. Her attitude towards those she interviews is disdainful, mocking, insulting & downright rude. She is a disgrace to the business. Also, PS #PowerAndPolitics sucks big time, most of the time.

Ironic, since opposition candidates are usually considered to be at an advantage since they don't have a record in office to defend, mistakes and all. And as yet, no proof whether they will stick to campaign promises once in office.

But they are making it really difficult to like them lately. Between Barton, that little twerp Justin McElroy at CBC Vancouver, Ian Hanomansing, who I've wanted to strangle for 5 years over Covid cognitive dissonance and stenography of Bonnie Henry - simply can't watch or listen to them

@gemelliz I listened to Catherine Tunney on CBC The House and topic was how important is the climate crisis anymore and what about pipelines? Then PP talking about his crowd sizes, then PP talking about energy. Then I just turned it off. A foregone conclusion that energy is what Canadians care about and that PP's talking points need to lead that Convo. When Carney is our current PM and sh/ lead the news, not favor it towards a weaker candidate who is clearly flailing in the polls.

@gemelliz well, the headline is accurate - some opponents are accusing him of that (as silly as it is).
The article itself does speak to what Carney is doing - and why he had paused his campaign a few times. It’s almost as though he cares more about the work that needs to be done than campaigning 😉

An accusation like that is really rich coming from Poilievre though
