Not in a million years!

Trump tries to slice up Ukraine like a pig on a butcher's block. Because now that Putin has stolen all the mineral mines in East Ukraine and all the harbors in the south, a simple way of achieving peace would be to let him keep it.

Talk to the barrels of our rifles you plundering thieves!

Partition Ukraine with troops ‘like post-war Berlin’, Trump envoy suggests

British and French forces would control western areas and Kyiv would cede east to Moscow under Lt Gen Keith Kellogg’s plan

After destroying the US economy and carrying out massive insider fraud that has made his collaborators and billionaire sponsors wealthier, the Trump regime has set its eyes on the next crime, robbing Ukraine. Here is Trump's proposed partition of Ukraine vs Ukraine's minerals.

@randahl

This is just to "protect" Ukraine.

An offer you can't refuse.

@randahl

Ukraine.

It's not a difficult concept. Even for Trumpanistas. 🇺🇦

@randahl
OMG, the US team really see #Ukraine as a tin-pot regime and not the biggest single army in Europe with 1 million fighters and the worlds most advanced equipment… because they invented it.

Ukraine defeated Russia in about a month. They have just finished the Soviet army and now it’s just the zombie hordes left. 🧟‍♂️

High tide isn’t stalemate between the Earth and the moon.

@taatm @randahl

This is still part of the poker show.

They want to keep Ukraine from going all-in. They may have missed the point, that Ukraine already did this a long time ago.

@randahl I don't understand why Russia would need the minerals. I'm a scientist, not a politician. But that area, as far as I understand, is pretty geologically consistent from one place to the next. For a country as just fucking MASSIVE as Russia is, I'm sure there are untapped oil reserves worth far more than anything in the Ukraine. *shrugs* Have they seriously wrecked their economy that bad?
@praetor one reason is, as the world goes electric, lithium is the new gold, while oil is a resource on borrowed time.
@randahl Yes. In the civilized world in which you live. This is true. But I do not live in a civilized country. I'm in Texas. And these people literally guzzle gasoline like it's cocaine. It seems like if Russia really wanted to IDK, own, the US. Being the worlds biggest cocaine dealer would be a far better way than picking on a country like Ukraine. *shrugs*

@praetor @randahl it's not about who has more. It's about who has enough to be a competitor.

If Ukraine is allowed to sell its resources to the world (mostly the EU), then a large portion of the world would not buy them from Russia. Ukraine would prosper financially and socially and become an existential threat to Russia by demonstrating to its people that they don't need to live in poverty and fear.

@gabriel @randahl that is very interesting. And very true. Russia's internet is very unique. It's not censored but it's also not not censored. They have they're own DNS that can rewrite things making them look legit. They've mastered misinformation. But if people in Ukraine started to talk to say relatives in Russia, which as I understand is common, and Ukraine is doing differently than what the state says it is I could see that being an existential threat to Putin. I suspect Trump will it too

@praetor @randahl yeah. Pretty much. Word travels and descent festers in the dark.

In the 80s, Romania was locked down under the communist rule. There were bootleggers that smuggled in bootleg vhs tapes of Hollywood movies. They would then double them in Romanian and sell them on the black market. Some people had vhs players. They would organize screenings for their neighbors.

Part of the reason Romania is so pro US is that (to a degree) we were inspired to fight for freedom by those tapes.

@praetor @randahl if we could do it in an era with no constant running water or electricity, they could do it now.

If you're curious about the bootleg thing, there's even a documentary called "Chuck Norris versus communism".

@randahl
The whole drama is based only on Europe's disunity for decades.

And Germany wants to elect an AfD that will isolate our country even more.

@randahl to quote Thanos: "i think you are confusing peace with quiet"

You in this case being the dumbass American leadership

@randahl

The party of Reagan and "Tear down this wall", now want to partition Ukraine? 🙄

#ThisIsAmericaNow

@TCatInReality @randahl No, that party is mostly gone, with a few holdouts like Mitt Romney still clinging to the hope that the party can be saved from the cult.

@toriver @randahl

True.

And what a soul-destroying life for Mr Moral Mitt Romney. Now to watch humans deported and imprisoned in El Salvador without due process.

@randahl It would left the #trump with no mineral deal in #ukraine if the most minerals are found in the east. #LoserTrump
