Incidentally, had the Maritime Museum in #Kure not been closed for basically all of this year, I would have organised at least a day there - that museum has, apparently, a 1: 20 scale model of the Yamato.

Seriously though, a 1: 20 scale model is enormous - the main guns on the model would STILL be nearly 1 inch in caliber on that scale. If you wanted to make an RC version, you could fit real guns in place of the naval rifles…
Back to the “Super Jet”, we’re not allowed out of the cabin out on deck and all the window seats got taken really quickly. But, yeah, we’re moving at a fair clip. #Matsuyama #Hiroshima
