@ProPublica in Arthur Hailey's 1967 novel "Hotel," there's a thief who unintentionally steals a leather briefcase with an assload of money in it. Using razor blades, he cuts up the entire briefcase into little bits and flushes them all except the latches. It doesn't take him 15 flushes, even with spacing them out to avoid clogging pipes or attracting attention.

@ProPublica Contemporary toilets are 💩 🧲s that need to be cleaned way more often than old ones, but it's not the water efficiency causing it. It's the surface roughness/poor finish.

@ProPublica Only a monumental egocentric incompetent asshole needs to share his struggles with toilets and showers. Normal people cope, or fix things if there really is a problem, or hire a plumber. Like AI, the orange menace hallucinates a lot.
