I bought $200 worth of stuff from Costco this week and they bought $0 worth of stuff from me. To resolve this deficit I will be charging myself $50 every time I go to the store. With this extra income I will build toasters, which I will attempt to sell to my local Costco for $200 each.
@malwaretech It’s like returning $50 of goods thinking it goes back to wallet. Nah, end up spending $200. Oh, their cranberry walnut loaf is delish
@goldeee13 @malwaretech My husband loves that bread. Have you ever made French toast with it? Delicious.
@JMinSD @malwaretech I haven’t but love French toast. Do you have a recipe to share?
@goldeee13 @malwaretech It's just my own: slice the bread (however much and thickness you want) and let the slices sit out overnight to get stale. In the morning, mix 2-3 eggs with some milk, a teaspoon or so of cinnamon and a little sweetener (if you like) in a shallow dish and dip the stale bread into the egg mixture. Get your pan hot (I use non-stick), grease it and cook the French toast on the stovetop on medium heat until one side is cooked, then flip and cook the other side until done. It should be browned on both sides but not too dark. Serve with butter and maple syrup or jam if you like. This works for any sliced bread. I don't know if the Costco magazine ever printed a recipe or not, but that would be a good idea.
@JMinSD @malwaretech Looks easy enough to do. Thanks for this 😊
