Ever since I discovered that Facebook provides RSS feeds for the posts of individual users, I’m using Facebook more than probably ever in my life.

Now whenever I hear about an organization or association that I find interesting, I first check if they post on Facebook so that I can decide if I want to subscribe to their RSS feed.

@simevidas Interesting! Do you have to log in to access the feed?

@rauschma I’m not sure. Probably.

I’ve set the scan interval for Facebook feeds to 8 hours in my RSS reader, just to be safe. Somebody suggested that there might be an issue if the RSS reader sends too many requests to Facebook.

@simevidas I thought they turn that off a long time ago? Could you share the link format please? Thanks.
@timdream The URL is the same as on the web, e.g., https://www.facebook.com/mozilla. I use the Feedbro browser extension.

@simevidas Ah. That explains it. You are using Feedbro built-in Social plug-ins, not something Facebook offered.
@simevidas Cooool! How to get RSS feeds for users, please?
@menelion The feed URL is the same as the regular web URL for that Facebook user, but you need to use an RSS reader that supports this. I use Feedbro (a browser extension).
