it’s as easy as this

no aliens, no half and half, no “whatever,” and it’s accessible

basic respect is easy actually

@tillybridges Doors that go to the floor so we have some privacy is what they should be fixating on, as opposed to who is using them.

@tillybridges Illinois has a state law requiring all single-occupancy restrooms to be all-gender restrooms.

Whenever I head south to visit family, I make sure to have one last stop before crossing into Indiana, and then I try to get the rest of the way without stopping. Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee all have prohibitions of one sort or another on trans people using public restrooms. The last few hours of the drive get very uncomfortable, but the cruelty is the point.

@tillybridges I respectfuly disagree. The word gender has become a very political word nowadays. So it might be "just that simple" to you, it is really annoying others. So I wonder whether there are alternatives? Maybe remove "all gender" and call it "restroom" ?
@sander @tillybridges
1.) ... or at least remove the letters "ll gender" part from the sign, so that it reads "a restroom"
2.) I appreciate the humor of the other "doesn't matter, it's a rest room" signs from back in the day, but the humor got lost over time and I can see how it doesn't work now (Our Sense of Propriety Marches On).
3.) ANY word can be politicized and you don't have to be woke to know it.

@tillybridges

"accessable Single stall restroom" is the signs at work
