@Daojoan Very funny comment! But I beg to disagree. Sorry to sound ridiculously earnest, but Succession was long-form, character based drama. The story had a beginning, middle, and end, and it explored timeless themes — all, to be sure, while hyping the “quiet luxury” of the story’s milieu and amping up the soap opera-ness of the tale. White Lotus, by contrast, is primarily snarky — all about how its rich, stereotypical characters are, by and large, moral failures. (1/2)
