Day 6 of using Bluefin.

Release stable-20250316.1 is out and all I had to do to get it is reboot my computer.

There is not a single OS that I know of that currently updates this smoothly. I think I have found my computing home.

@cienmilojos @ublue really have to test it
@inlovewithpda @ublue I'm sold. My only concern is making sure these guys are around for a long time so I don't have to switch to a different image. 😂

@cienmilojos @inlovewithpda @ublue I'm seriously considering bazzite (because games) but for a desktop PC. I'm still learning about all the different atomic spins though...

Any advice?

@pfr @inlovewithpda @ublue you can use bazzite as a desktop OS as well if you want to game on desktop.

It's what I'm currently using. I don't play many PC games but it does a fantastic job with flatpak and OS updates, hands off. Literally the most painless Linux I've ever used out of the box. You can use brew to install terminal apps, flathub and use Boxbuddy to install apps as well.

Aurora is there if you prefer KDE. Same premise.

Bluefin

The next generation cloud-native Linux workstation, designed for reliability, performance, and sustainability.

@cienmilojos @inlovewithpda @ublue yeah, Bazzite is just extra awesome for gamers because all necessary drivers and tools are prepackaged and preconfigured.

Now I just need another 2tb drive to back up all the things
