@masek @killyourfm @ryanleesipes For USA folk it's probably less of an issue, as they're already forcefully committed to the dark side. But then the question becomes what Thundermail has to offer for those without escape: GMail and Outlook already have a compelling package.
For EU folk it could be a game changer. If, *IF* there's enough value. As a recurring TB donor I'm definitely not paying to have my email stored on US soil.

@ryanleesipes @KoosPol @masek @killyourfm European servers is not going to cut it! You are a US organisation and thus the US CloudAct is applicable to you. If your government asks, you will have to hand over data no matter where the servers are physically located. The only way out is to be technically unable to hand over data, e.g. via end2end encryption similar to how Signal does it, in which case it doesn't matter where the servers are.
