When I started my career, I was jealous of people who traveled a lot. I was always a 3-4 business trips per year guy until post-pandemic with more distributed teams.
Now, I despise regular business travel. Off to Phoenix for 5th business trip in 7 weeks 🤮
@chopaganda I have a lot of harsh criticisms I could give my company/industry but what I will say is that I’ve been asked to be in the office for meetings ~25x since Covid restrictions lifted. I’m not required to fly anywhere. I’m also not required to turn on the camera during meetings.
I’ll take this as a small tiny win. Trust me there is absolutely a flip side but I am going to enjoy this silver lining a little bit.
