@gruber Nah. The good-natured mockery and ‘roasting’ implies a convivial spirit that has no place in the relationship between power and the press. They are adversarial in nature, or should be. It’s right up there with union shop stewards having dinner in fancy restaurants with management: it’s bullshit and it’s corruption.
