I work for a security consultancy.
Over the last 8 years I’ve helped protect airplanes, airports, ships, trains, cars, and IoT devices.
I’ve published research to help protect queer people from having their location and identities leaked when using dating apps.
I’ve also given talks at DEFCON and to lots of other groups.
Also, I'm a trans nonbinary person.
I like to think this is at most the fifth most interesting thing about me but it’s still part of who I am.

I'm responsible for security research strategy within my department at a large tech company. Over the last decade, I've spoken at multiple conferences. Last week presented a paper I co-authored at a security workshop in Cambridge. My work protects the public. Also, I'm a trans nonbinary person. My gender is not even in the top ten most interesting things about me, but it's still an important part of who I am. Are you trans? Who are you? Let's hear something else about you. It doesn't have to be impressive. End with "Also, I'm a trans (fill in the blank)."
