After multiple instances of longer detainment of tourists by ICE, both the UK, Germany, and Denmark now warn against traveling to the US. While Germany and the UK has general warnings for all tourists, Denmark specifically warns about being trans and traveling to the US.
It is likely we will see a significant drop in US tourism this year.

The US splits sovereignty between states and the federal government, much like Germany. Laws vary by state, but there's also strong federal influence.
Before this year, I would have said it depends what state you're in. But the current administration is trying to change that, and I would advise most people to avoid the entire US for now.
