Gustavo@samueljohnson If I understood it correctly, seems a nice way to manage an open-source project, after all, hosting can be expensive and providing hosting services is a extra over the open-source. It could be worse: once I got sooo annoyed with people asking the same questions over and over again on GitHub without looking at the documentation or existing issues that I made support via GitHub issues paid for a while until those people got away (ok, more than a while, I was annoyed, but it's free again).

@cosmic_spinnerette @Sarahp If you just do a web search on "substack nazi problem" you will get a list of articles. You can send the URL for that search for to your friend to sort through the articles and show him much of a problem substack is.

@[email protected] It's the main one, maintained by the developer. I suppose you could open an issue at https://gitlab.com/diasporg/poduptime/issues if you wanted, typing the name of an instance into the admin menu will queue it for addition (even if you aren't the admin)
